Aim & Scope

The Journal of Public Finance and Public Choice (PFPC)/Economia delle scelte pubbliche deals with the economics and politics of public intervention, following the approach initiated a century ago by European (Italian as well as Austrian and Swedish) public finance scientists and further developed by the American theory of public choice. The journal encourages the submission of manuscripts in the field of public finance and public choice, both theoretical and applied, including papers on the history of economic thought and on economic methodology.
